Whatever brings you here,

you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Maybe you feel sad, stuck, or under pressure. Maybe you are grieving, depressed, feel alone or going through a significant life challenge. I’m

Charlotte Reiner, an integrative psychotherapist working with adults on a one-to-one basis.

I offer a compassionate therapeutic relationship tailored uniquely to you and your specific needs.

Taking the first step

Reaching out for therapy takes courage. You may know exactly what has brought you here, or you may simply have a sense that something isn’t quite working and want to understand it better. You don’t need to have the answers before you get in touch.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation by phone or video, with no obligation to continue. It’s an opportunity for you to share a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of how I work.

It’s also a chance for us both to see how it feels to talk together. The relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of meaningful therapy and finding the right fit matters. I encourage you to take the time to find a therapist who feels right for you.

You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for. What matters is a genuine willingness to pause, reflect and explore. The rest, we can work out together.

If you’d like to arrange a consultation, you can use the contact form or send me an email. This is strictly confidential. I’ll aim to respond within 24 hours.

How we’ll work together

My approach is integrative. I am trained to focus on the root cause of problems. I offer a dedicated safe space to pause, reflect and develop a clearer sense of  yourself, your relationships and your experiences.

A relationship where you can feel truly heard, acknowledged and seen for who you are. Together, we can consider your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your pace. We can bring awareness to patterns that may be impacting your life now. We look at what matters to you, what gives your life meaning and vitality. Building trust is an important part of this process, as is creating an environment where you feel safe, respected and understood. My practice is grounded in rigorous ethical standards, with your wellbeing, dignity and confidentiality at its heart.

What brings you here:

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a particular difficulty that has brought you here; at other times, it may be a more persistent sense that something isn’t quite right, or that you’re finding yourself caught in patterns you don’t fully understand and that may be getting in the way of the life you want to lead.

Our work together is collaborative. We will take time to make sense of what is happening for you: your thoughts, feelings, relationships and ways of responding. This may mean looking at problematic relationship patterns, difficulties at work, questions around identity or self-esteem, a significant life event or transition. We can also explore experiences of anxiety, low mood, shame or harsh self-criticism, and begin to develop a kinder and more compassionate understanding of yourself.

Greater self-awareness creates possibilities for change. As we come to understand your needs, feelings and responses more clearly, we can begin to explore different ways of relating to yourself and to others; ways that feel more supportive, confident and sustainable.

There is no fixed formula for therapy. The work will be shaped around you, your experiences and what you hope to find or change. My role is to offer thoughtful support as we make sense of what is happening, while working together towards greater ease and a clearer sense of yourself and what you need.
